Volunteers Needed

Volunteer Tech Night Date.jpg

We've got a place for YOU on our Sunday Volunteer Team!
The Body of Christ is meant to work together to share the love and hope of Jesus. It takes a large team of volunteers to pull off three Sunday services, including a live stream service. We are looking to add more people to the tech team at Revive. Would you please consider joining the team? It’s actually a lot of fun to serve together and fulfill a purpose!

We need help in the Sanctuary for the 9 & 11 AM services, as well as for the 10 AM stream service in the Fellowship Hall. Some positions are more technical than others, so we are looking for different skill levels ranging from beginners to advanced. Training is available! A servant’s heart, love for Jesus, dedication, teachable spirit, and commitment are a must. If you have experience in any of the following positions, we’d especially love for you to join our team.

9 & 11 AM Sanctuary Needs:

  • Run the Sound Board (advanced): set appropriate sound levels for band and singers, pastors, etc; have a good ear for music

  • Advance Lyric Slides/Videos/Graphics (intermediate): following along with song lyrics, videos, sermon slides, etc; pays attention to details; good ear for music is helpful

10 AM Elevate/Stream Service Needs:

  • Run a Video Camera (beginner): set camera shots, listen as director calls for shots

  • Run the Sound Board (advanced): set appropriate sound levels for band and singers, pastors, etc; have a good ear for music

  • Advance Lyric Slides/Videos/Graphics (intermediate): following along with song lyrics, videos, sermon slides, etc; attention to details; good ear for music is helpful

  • Run Light Board/Fog Machine (intermediate): light patterns are pre-set, switching as songs/message change; good attention to detail

  • Caller in the Room (advanced): walks tech team through service step-by-step, calling out what’s coming next on headset; high attention to detail; confident

  • Stage Manager (intermediate): make sure stage is presentable, band/singers in correct places; has a good eye aesthetically

  • Producer (advanced): oversees whole service; checks in with the head of each tech area; good understanding of all positions; confident

  • Director (advanced): can combine with switcher role; keeps the flow of the service going, troubleshoots issues; confident; makes decisions quickly

  • Switcher (intermediate): sees and call out camera shots, runs switcher board; high attention to details; has a good overall feel for the flow of the service

  • Stream Recording (intermediate): runs streaming software; high attention to details; computer knowledge required

Come see it all in action at a TECH DEMO NIGHT on MONDAY, AUGUST 24, 7:00 PM. You can see what’s involved with each position, and what might be of interest to you! By August 21, please let us know if you’re coming: mailtolynn@gmail.com. If that night doesn’t work for you, we’ll find another time for you to shadow the team. Questions? Contact Lynn Petersen (email above).

If you are looking for a less technical role to fill...we also are in need of Sunday volunteers to help facilitate the new safety protocols: ask health screening questions, oversee hand sanitizer station, ushers/seating attenders, light sanitizing after 9 AM service, etc. To help in one of these areas, email Amanda at adufrane@bpefc.org.

Looking forward to serving Jesus with you!
