Revive Groups
Edifying, encouraging and challenging each other to live out our faith in Christ.
As believers, we help one another live out God’s design for our lives. We edify, encourage, and challenge each other to live out our faith in Christ. We offer small groups, fellowships and classes at Revive. They each serve a different purpose.
A Small Group is an intimate gathering of individuals where studying the Bible, exploring biblical subjects, and spiritual discussion are the primary emphasis of the group. Typically, these groups are smaller in size, meet in a home or residence, and are led by anyone who regularly attends Revive Church.
A Fellowship Group is a social gathering of individuals where building community and fellowship are the primary intent of the group. Modeling the Biblical concept of “Koinonia,” these groups promote communion or fellowship within a community. Discussion of biblical topics may be included as a component of the group, but they are generally a secondary focus. Fellowship groups are often larger than small groups and typically encourage individual participation in a specific activity, hobby, or event. Based on the social nature of these groups, meeting locations may vary, and leadership can include church attenders, members, staff, or pastors. In some instances, these groups may cater towards a particular stage of life or gender demographic.
A Class is a group of individuals that is more formal in nature where education, awareness, or growth in biblical wisdom are the primary goals of the group. Classes are typically, but not always, the largest of the groups at Revive Church and are characterized by their scholastic approach to teaching about various subjects. Almost always, these groups are held on the church premises and are led by subject matter experts including pastors or approved speakers.
