GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES AMONG THE NATIONS.
We define missions as any endeavor outside the local congregation to fulfill the Great Commission of Christ by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, making disciples, and ministering to the totality of human needs. Two points of emphases in reference to missions are local and global. The local arm of missions focuses on the immediate community surrounding the local church: neighborhood, city, state. The Global arm extends further into other countries and cities across the world.
GLOBAL MISSIONS
Short-Term Missions
The Short-Term missions movement is one of God's greatest means to accomplishing the Great Commission. Our short-term missions teams have traveled to countries in Europe, India, Central Asia, several small Islands in the Caribbean, Mexico, Africa, and several inner City locations in the USA including Chicago and Louisiana. Harold Skovmand, a missionary and pastor of a small church on the Island of Canouan, said this to a team from Revive Church: "This team has accomplished in seven days what would have taken me five months. Please tell the church if they choose between money and people, send the people."
LONG-TERM MISSIONS
Our missionaries have dedicated their lives to helping people come to know and love God and to spreading the news about what He has done through Jesus Christ. Our missionaries seek to build up local leaders in whatever community they are in and to equip the church in that community.
